The bed and breakfast rooms are in the grounds of Plas Heulog (right), our home, and consist of a double bedroom suite (sleeps 2) and two 2 bedroom suites (sleep 4). They all have breathtaking sea and mountain views of the Menai Strait and Anglesey and of the Carneddau mountains of Snowdonia

• All have a south facing verandah with lawn chairs provided to enjoy the panoramic views
• Each suite has its own private sitting room
• All have rooms have patio doors onto the verandah
• The one bedroom suite has double bedroom with en-suite shower room and private sitting room
• The two bedroom suite 1 has double bedroom with en-suite shower room and twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and private sitting room
• The two bedroom suite 2 has both double and twin bedroom with en-suite shower rooms and private sitting room
• breakfast is provided in the breakfast area at the end of the verandah from 8.30 am to 9.30 am consisting of cereals, fruit juices, toast and tea or coffee

• Llanfairfechan is located halfway between Bangor and Conwy on the A55 dual carriageway. Plas Heulog is located about 1 mile above the village at 850 feet

Located off the A55 between Conwy and Bangor, Llanfairfechan is a charming, unspoilt Victorian seaside resort, complete with sandy beach, nestled beneath the 1400 foot mass of Penmaenmawr Mountain.  The seafront promenade has a traditional seaside Pavilion Cafe, complete with buckets and spades and ice cream. Shops include Co-op and Village Food and Wine Nisa (open late each day), butcher, newsagents, cash-points, post office, chemist, off-licence, deli.  There are a variety of eating places, pubs and take-aways.   Local activities include walking, birdwatching, horse riding, model boating, mountain biking, golf.

Traeth Lafan Nature Reserve This nature reserve is located next to the beach at Llanfairfechan. It is a magnet for birdwatchers who come to view the rich variety of waders and wildfowl. The reserve includes the beach and a large area of intertidal mudflats stretching westwards as far as Bangor and out to sea towards Anglesey. The distinctive oystercatcher is just one of the species for which the reserve is of national importance. There are bird hides and a picnic area at Morfa Madryn, which is situated west of the promenade, a lovely walk along the coast in its own right.
